1. Print-on-Demand Art Prints and Merchandise
One of the biggest challenges of offering physical items is inventory risk. Through HUG, you can sell the following print-on-demand items that are only produced upon a customer order:
- Framed and unframed fine art prints
- Spiral notebooks
- Hardcover journals
- Ceramic mugs
How it works:
- Upload your artwork
- Decide what options to offer (e.g. size, frame type)
- Set your pricing
... and HUG does the rest in terms of printing, shipping, and fulfillment! We work with a network of international third-party manufacturers to make sure that we can get your work in the hands of anyone all around the world.
2. Physical Products (ship-it-yourself) - currently in beta, request access here.
Ship, fulfill, and sell any physical product you have. The sky's the limit, but you can sell anything from original paintings to merchandise and more.
How it works:
- Upload a photo of the product you would like to sell
- Set your pricing
- Once your product is sold, download the prepaid shipping label through HUG, affix it to your product, and drop it off at your local post office!
3. Digital Downloads
Digital downloads allow you to sell digital files such as illustrations, design elements, tools, guidebooks, or anything that you can think of in an instant!
How it works:
- Upload your digital file
- Set your pricing
... and HUG manages payment processing and fulfillment! Customers will be able to download the files immediately after purchase.
4. Onchain Collectibles
Onchain collectibles leverage blockchain technology to verify ownership and authenticity of any digital media. You can make any digital creation collectible, from an artwork to a piece of writing to a music composition.
How it works:
- Upload the media you would like to tokenize onchain
- Provide additional information around how you would like your work to be collected, e.g. just once as a 1/1 or unlimited times as an open edition
- Set your pricing
... and HUG takes care of the rest from the deployment of the smart contract on Base (a Layer 2 blockchain on Ethereum) as well as delivery of the token to the buyer. You retain ownership and can set royalty percentages for future resales.
