How do I set up shipping for my physical products?

Selling your own physical products, otherwise known as ship-it-yourself, is currently in beta. Kindly request early access here.

To facilitate accurate shipping estimates and provide tracking information to customers, HUG will provide prepaid shipping labels to sellers who are shipping products themselves.

🔔 Note: To ensure a quality customer experience, we recommend that you ship your product within 10 business days, if not sooner. If for whatever reason you are no longer able to fulfill the order yoou have received, please inform us immediately at hello@thehug.xyz so that we can let your customer know.

Shipping costs will be charged directly to the customer, and will be calculated based on the information you provide when creating your product listing:

  • The weight of your product (inclusive of the packaging it will be shipped in)
  • The address you will be shipping from

If you need to change your shipping address later on, you can do so via the Inventory tab in your Shop Manager.

Must I use the prepaid shipping labels provided by HUG?

At the moment, yes. Since this is a new feature, using our prepaid shipping labels ensure that shipping costs are calculated accurately while also ensuring that both sellers and customers can track their shipments. Using our prepaid shipping labels also allow your customers to access discounted shipping rates.
