Help CenterClick Add in your Shop Manager to create a new Product for sale. Select the type of Product you would like to sell.
- Choose Your Physical Product if you would like to sell a physical item that you will be responsible for shipping yourself - currently in beta, request access here.
- Choose Onchain Collectible if you would like to tokenize and sell a digital media on the Base blockchain.
- Choose Digital Download if you would like to sell a digital file that can be downloaded immediately upon purchase.
- Choose Fine Art Print, Spiral Notebook, Hardcover Journal, or Ceramic Mug if you would like to sell one of your artworks as a museum-grade art print or as merchandise respectively that is only manufactured upon customer order.
Upload What You're Selling
After selecting the relevant product category, upload the image or content that you would like to sell.
- For print-on-demand products such as Fine Art Print, Spiral Notebook, Hardack Journal, or Ceramic Mug, upload the artwork that you would like to have reproduced.
- For Onchain Collectible, upload the digital media that you would like to have collected on the blockchain. This can be anything from an original drawing, painting, writing, music, photograph, and more.
- For Digital Download, upload the digital file you would like your customer to be able to download upon purchase.
Add Product Details
Describe your Product by providing a Product Name, Product Description, as well as a custom URL for its listing.
Upload Additional Product Images
For Onchain Collectibles and Digital Downloads, you have the option to add additional product images to your listing. This can be helpful to better describe or showcase what you are selling to prospective buyers.
For example, if you are putting a music composition on the blockchain as an onchain collectible, you may also want to upload an additional cover image to better describe what it is.
Alternatively, if you are selling a Procreate brush pack as a digital download, you may want to upload additional product images that show your brushes in application.
Configure Additional Options
For Fine Art Prints, select what print sizes and frame options you would like to offer. At present, you can choose between three different sizes across square, landscape, and portrait dimensions, as well as offer unframed and framed (in white, black, and natural) prints.
For Onchain Collectibles, create a new or select an existing collection (otherwise known as contract) you would like to add (otherwise known as mint) your collectible to.
You can determine how you would like your creation to be collected, be it as a 1/1, a Limited Edition, or an Open Edition. You can also set your royalty percentage here for future resales.
Set Pricing
Set your price! How much you make for the sale of each item will be updated automatically. As HUG takes a flat platform fee per sale, how much you make is calculated as the price you set less the platform fee. For Fine Art Prints and other Print-on-Demand products, a Base Price is also deducted to cover manufacturing fees, which HUG then pays to third-party manufacturers.
For Digital Downloads and Onchain Collectibles, you must set a price higher than the minimum price of $0.50.
Preview Listing
Once you have finished setting up your Product, you can preview your Product Listing to see how it looks before publishing it.
Publish and Share Your Product
Once you are satisfied, click Publish! Congratulations, your Product is officially live on your HUG Shop, and you can now start to share and promote it to your audience.
Once published, you can continue to edit your Product by accessing it through the Shop Manager.
⚠️ Note: For Onchain Collectibles, as some of the information is recorded on the blockchain and is hence immutable, not everything can be edited after publishing.
